US Fed unveils $800 billion stimulus plan (Deutsche Welle)

The US Federal Reserve has unveiled an 800 billion dollar plan to further stimulate consumer lending. 600 billion dollars will be used to buy mortgage-related debt and 200 billion dollars will go towards unfreezing the consumer lending market.
